“I am passionate about living in a fair, decent, and transparent society.”

The center of Steve’s life is his family, beginning with his wife and life partner with whom he has built a shared vision of life and his four kids, ages 22, 21, 19, and 16, who he has helped grow into independent adults ready to forge their own paths along “life’s random walk”. He enjoys exercise, heading outdoors on the weekends to run along the beach or run stairs at a nearby sand dune park, usually with a good book playing on his phone. After that, hanging around at home, cooking dinner for whoever’s there…that’s a perfect day.

  • Steve and Larry O’Brien have worked together for more than 25 years
  • His avocation is cars – he reads magazines, blogs and forums and keeps a running mental list of vehicles he’d like to drive or own
  • Steve and his family make 100 lunches once per month in support of Lunches with Love, a self-funded community effort which delivers around 2000 lunches per month to the homeless
