Antitrust
ProtectUS Law and our partner law firms bring class action State antitrust lawsuits against companies which have engaged in anticompetitive behavior. Our clients are consumers who have purchased a product or service produced by those companies whose prices have been artificially increased by anticompetitive practices such as price fixing. These lead class action plaintiffs may be entitled to service awards in some cases.
ProtectUS’ focus is on the largest companies that produce products in a given industry who set prices together and then distribute those products through third party distributors such as Amazon. These big corporations and their joint anticompetitive actions are indirectly the cause of extremely high prices for the public.

Childhood Cancer from Fracking Chemical Exposure
Several new scientific studies have presented evidence of a causal relationship between exposure to extraction chemicals, such as benzene, and increased risk of certain types of cancer, including Childhood Leukemia and Ewing Sarcoma. Studies conducted both in Pennsylvania (the “NIH Study”) and Colorado (the “McKenzie Study”) have found that residential proximity to oil and gas development was associated with much greater risk for hematologic cancers.
